It's all digital these days right? Perhaps that statement isn't entirely true but digital marketing certainly is all the rage. I've been involved with a number of web site projects over the years. I started back in 1999 I helped with content organization and site development for Tall Stacks 1999. In that same year at Iacono Productions we also helped Wordsworth Communications with their original web site as well as Berman Printing.
I've been fortunate to work with some of the brightest digital minds over the past few years at Rockfish Interactive which is an award-winning, full-service digital innovation agency owned by WPP. Rockfish teams combine best-in-class technology, creative and strategy to deliver innovation and accelerate growth for some the world’s largest brands. My account work included managing website strategy, design, development, maintenance and analytics. My teams also built mobile applications, managed search and online reputation management as well as the development and management of clients' social channels. We designed sweepstakes and promotions and even produced some broadcast spots.
At Convergys, I helped with content management and copyrighting supporting the Web team. I was trained to make content changes using Interwoven's content management system. I also helped develop a digital asset management tool that we branded The Marcom Toolbox. Presentations, collateral, videos, logos and brand guidelines could all be found here. Internal employees and outside suppliers utilized this site. The site no longer exists but I do have a screen grab of the main menu.
I had total responsibility for 2 commerce sites while at Jones the Florist: jonestheflorist.com and sweetsinbloom.com. We reconfigured menus, changed product positioning and monitored metrics very closely. Both sites went through redevelopment phases under my management and that work remains in place today.
At Vertex, www.vertexgroup.com was managed in the U.K. but my team in North America played a significant role in the conversion of two separate regional sites (UK and NA) into one global site and I helped write and organize chunks of that content.
I recently worked with my friends at Tarte Advertising to build The Kairos Foundation site www.kairosfound.com. I started this foundation with some friends and wrote the copy and managed the site build process.
I also helped a startup called NYX Global develop a corporate web site and a second site for an affiliated foundation. My friends at Tarte Advertising designed and programmed these sites. I managed the project and provided content consultation as well as copywriting, editing and creative consultation. You can view these sites at www.nyxglobal.com and www.lwafoundation.org.
I consider myself to be better than average on the digital front. I read a lot to keep abreast of the trends and technologies and more importantly, I know how to help organizations and brands leverage the digital frontier in their marketing initiatives.
